Digger Dollars

Digger Dollars is a terrific new competition introduced to reward "careful" readers of the Northern Services Courier.

Each month the name of a NQ-based member of the ADF is chosen at random and printed somewhere in the pages of the Northern Services Courier with a special code following the name and company acronym (DDW - for Digger Dollars winner).

If the editor is successful and manages to hide the name where it cannot be found, the $500 cash prize jackpots to the following month.

In the first three months of the competition, the name has been found well within the time limit imposed under the rules of the game.

Even hiding the winner's name in the "small print" in a motorbike advertisement, printing it upside down and backwards and as a false identifier on an ad wasn't clever enough to evade detection.

It can only get harder . . .

The inaugural winner of
Digger Dollars,
WOFF Lyn Wood

MUSN Sue Beyer won
the second Digger Dollars
competition

CAPT Gavin Jones pocketed
the money the third time around
